The business opened in 1992 and we have some very experienced advisers to look after our clients. Dave Smith, Mark Glastonbury, Steve Gill and Marilyn Stein have a wealth of experience behind them with all four being in the business for over 25 years.  Mark and Steve are based in Whitchurch, Dave in Newport and Marilyn in Romford.

We may (dependent on your circumstances) charge a fee for our service in providing advice and submitting your mortgage application. Any fee will be agreed at the outset before we start the mortgage process. For Regulated Residential Mortgages and Standard Buy to Let Mortgages the maximum fee would be £500.00.  For Portfolio Buy to Let landlords this may vary. 

 

First Time Buyers. Buying your first home is exciting but can also be confusing and even worrying. By using our Mortgage Advisers you will be guided through every stage of the house buying process.

 

We are Independent and as we do not act for any third parties such as Estate Agents or Builders. We solely look after our clients interests and nobody else's.

 

Credit Issues. Even if you have been declined by one lender still speak to ourselves as some Building Societies do not credit score and the final decision is made by humans and not computers. We have access to lenders who will consider lending to borrowers with County Court Judgements and Defaults registered against them. Even how much you can borrow may vary considerably between different lenders depending on how your income is structured. 

 

Rate Switches. If you currently have a mortgage we may be able to secure you a new deal with your existing lender even if we did not arrange the original mortgage. By doing this you will benefit from receiving Independent Advice.

 

Retirement Mortgages.  A number of lenders will now consider mortgages for people in retirement with no age restrictions. This is not Equity Release.  Often Retired borrowers are only offered Equity Release and are unaware that there are other alternative and possibly more suitable schemes available to them. We do not advise on Equity Release.
